Children's Rehabilitive And Community Support Services (RCS)
RCS is provided to children with autism or Pervasive Developmental Disorder, and their families, utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Entry-level staff receive over 75 hours of ABA and behavioral health training and oversight, with education continuing throughout the professional’s career with Pathways.
Training, supervision and ongoing consultation is provided by Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Licensed Psychologists, and Licensed Clinical Social Workers services are provided in the home school and community, focused on reducing challenging behaviors and helping individuals to acquire pro-social, adaptive skills. While much of treatment and support is provided directly with the child, RCS services have a strong family-centered focus. This includes involving the child’s parents/caregivers in the treatment process to encourage greater family independence and quality of life.
